My birthday (yes, the 40th!) was spent in Croatia. We had a lovely day out in Dubrovnik followed by an early dinner. Lara and Emma had insisted on buying a cake and had brought candles from London so when we got back to our apartment it was time for a quick celebration. I am not all that keen on cake but as you can see the two children share no such reservations.

As I said, I can't be;eive it's 40 years since you came into my life! The children are definitely cut from the same pattern.
