Leo, as you can imagine, is now very mobile. Almost all of the beaches in Croatia where we were are stony rather than sandy and he seemed to make a regular even of falling on his forehead. First he did a nice graze while climbing some rustic steps and then followed that up a few days later while having lunch in a taverna on the loverly beach across the bay from Dubrovnik. He was playing with a little girl who was sharing her ice lolly with him when he tripped and fell with a resounding thud on the paved floor. The result was the nice shiny bruise in the photo. He bellowed for a while and would not have the ice we were given on his forehead though he was quite happy to play with it.

Oh dear! It looks quite dramatic. He is such a boy boy, so I expect there'll be many more grazes and bruises
