We've not given up on the blog but with Christmas and various medical adventures for Lara there really has been no time to post anything. We've got tons of photos but they all need to be sorted, red-eye fixed, uploaded etc... I promise I will get to it.
The good news is that we are all doing well. Leo is settling down nicely and feeding well. Lara is getting much better and Emma is being a star, despite being cooped up at home or in doctors' surgeries, hospitals etc.
In terms of priorities, and so that you understand that you are not being neglected, we have upgraded our computer and I am in the process of setting it up and moving all of our data (music, photos, videos, emails etc) over. I can't believe now that we are using the new one that we managed with the other one which is only about 3 years old.
We also finally upgraded to a home theatre system. The real logic was not to get surround sound DVDs etc. but because our CD player packed up. We can't really complain since it was a little Sony unit that Lara and I bought as our wedding gift to ourselves back in March 1997. A good life for the poor thing. I know that the one Pierre and Deidre bought around the same time has had many of the same travails and no longer lives.
So, as you see, we have a great many things on the go. It is not just the blog being neglected; the surround sound is still not set up and the computer is only partially done. But progress is being made so please come back soon.
