Now Sefrican Too

Leo's South African passport and birth certificates (yes plural) arrived this week. He will probably never have a Sefrican accent but this means that as he grows up he will have easier choices and options about where he would like to live.

The reason I said certificates (plural) was because of what I say to you all so often; get a copy of your unabridged birth certificate. When you are asked for it (and you will be) it is going to cause you untold aggravation and irritation trying to get it. Rather apply for it now and keep it handy. And if you are married get the unabridged version of the marriage certificate too. We now have both the regular and unabridged copies of all of our important documents and it has saved us endless hassles.
