Last weekend had a triple impact. And Sunday was the impact zone. It was Easter, it was Emma's 9th birthday and Dave (Lara's brother) arrived from South Africa on a visit to run the London Marathon.Emma and I made the early morning start to fetch Dave at Heathrow (after first checking to ensure that the Easter Bunny had made the necessary delivery). Once safely home Emma did a mad rush around the garden to gather up her loot and only then did we settle down for the opening of presents.
Not only Emma was spoiled though; Dave brought a suitcase of gifts from Michele and Bev for which we were very grateful. We felt really spoiled.
UPDATE: Dave has just completed the marathon in 4 hours and 8 minutes. Well done!

wish the Easter Bunny could have made it to our house - not as lucky as our 9 year old birthday girl though - Well Done from us to Dave as well!!!!
Wish we'd been there to share the Easter eggs and that yummy looking chocolate cake. Our congrats to dave too. Love Grandpa and Grannyannie
