On Sunday evening last weekend the SYO held their spring concert at St Luke's (the home of the London Symphony Orchestra). Emma is in the Training Orchestra (for the younger players) they did four pieces with great skill and enthusiasm as usual. They impressed everybody there especially given the young ages.
A highlight of the evening was the arrangements of two pieces of music from Muse (a modern British band) by Lindsay Ryan – the associate director of SYO. These were played by the Main Orchestra and I think you will be impressed by the standard. This was a world premiere of the pieces and so far SYO has been the only orchestra given permission to arrange and play any of the Muse pieces. Watch at full volume…

How fantastic! Emma, we're SO proud of you.
GREAT. Must be very exciting to perform in front of so many people.
Brett, can you pint out where Emma is with the YouTube Annotate?
These two pieces were done by the Main Orchestra so Emma is not playing. She plays with the Training Orchestra which is the younger children. Unfortunately they did not record any of the other pieces but I wanted to share them to give an idea of the standard of playing.
Well, Riley still loves to listen to Emma playing. She often asks to see.
goose bumpy!!!!!! so proud to Emma will be part of the main orchestra in good time.
PS - Zara also points to computer and asks for "EhEh" xxx
