I can't believe that 10 days have gone by so quickly. I'm sure that at times they have dragged for Stacie though; it's never easy with a new baby and there have been a lot of times when we have sat around at home being tense and frustrated while Leo slept (or didn't sleep) or while he fed (or didn't feed) etc. But she has been very patient and she has been excellent with Emma who of course adores her. I hope that she has bonded a little with Leo too. I know that as much as she will be missed by us all, Emma is going to be especially upset when we say goodbye at the airport tonight.
That said, I know that Stacie will be justly proud of some of the pictures she took of our expanded family so I wanted to get them posted as soon as possible for you all to see. As usual you can find a slidehow of the latest "best of the best" ones posted on

as a slideshow. The feet I used in this post were the last she took and quite an interesting challenge. But I'm sure you will agree they turned out very nicely.
I've also retired the old picture I used for the profile on this blog. It was taken by Stacie in August 2002 and I've updated it with another family portrait taken by Stacie that shows the addition to the family.
Thanks Stacie for all you have done while you have been here and for being not only a part of our life here in London but also taking so much time to understand it.
