A week ago Emma had her braces fitted. Just the top teeth for now though. The bottom ones will be done in January when we get back from South Africa as this will allow her to ease into her clarinet playing which can be disrupted by the braces.
As you can see they are really not obtrusive; I suppose we are all so used to seeing braces that they look normal (for braces). Hers have a blue tinge to them if you look closely.

They are not obtrusive at all. I gather they hurt a bit - but that goes away as I recall. Looking forward to seeing them in real life.
I agre, not obtrusive at all. I'm sure she'll soon adjust her clarinet "touch", too
