Today was the day for the big move... from the cot to the bed. As you can see I had an enthusiastic helper (though some pieces did keep getting absented into other parts of the house.

Yesterday was the day for the trip to Ikea to get the bed itself... something we did for Emma when she was two. For Leo we got a toddler bed because when he's older we think he'd like a raised bed so he will have more floor space in his room. Anyway, seems to have worked. Hope the night goes well as the bed of course does not have rails (bars?) to keep him in it.

Wow, the day came! How did the first night go?
That day is coming soon for my Jonathan ...
Best to you all,

Dear Leo,
Please could you teach Oliver to keep his room so tidy.
Love
Kim
What a big boy!!!! I can hardly believe that when we last saw Leo he was just on ONE!!! Now potty training and in his big boy bed..... We are so excited to be coming to see you all in just under 3 weeks (& counting)
I heard from a friend of mine that they used a stair gate at the door of the bedroom to keep wondering sleepy heads at bay ;~)
What excitement it must have been. I bet he enjoys being a big boy in his big boy bed.
P.S. So glad you're blogging again.
Lots of love
Hi Leo. I Love the colours of your room. When I come the 1st week in Sep you will have to show me your room and tell me how I can teach Riley to be as good as you. Miss you lots.
