I said last year in Corfu that I was not going to arrange our 2007 holiday but I gave in and did it. This week we finally confirmed an apartment in a villa outside the village of Mlini near Dubrovnik. We leave on July 17th and get back on July 31st so again I get to spend my birthday on holiday.
It's a pity that Chris and Stacie won't be with us this time but at least we'll get an idea about Croatia as a destination. I suspect so far that there are not so many beaches of the sort we love in Greece but the change might do us good.
The photo quality in this slideshow is not great as I had to copy them from the brochure. But at least you'll get a sense of where we are going.
Now we just need to survive until July...

I still think of Croatia as a war zone, but I gather that it's now a great holiday destination. I'm sure you'll have a super time
July is not that far off. Sure you will survive till then, and then have a great holiday...
can't even begin to tell you how sad i am that we wont be joining you!!!!!
but I suppose the time had to come to "settle down and tighten our belts" Here's to getting it together in 2008!
