A surprise call last week from my cousin Christopher Grove who is over in the UK on some training for work. We have not seen Christopher since our engagement in 1992 so obviously he has changed a little.
We spent a lovely day together which included a visit to the grounds of Hampton Court Palace after our lunch. It was a bit chilly but at least it was not raining so it was good to get out into the fressh (!) air for a few hours.
The extra little girl in the picture is our neighbour's daughter Caity. She spent the afternoon with us after he mom had to rush of her older sister to hospital with a suspected appendix problem. All turned out well though as it was just swollen glands from a tonsil infection and Caity and Emma had fun running around the grouds of Hampton Court.
Christopher and I will hopefully be exchanging some old cine film material from the family and I made my first installment by sharing what I already have.

So glad that you managed to get together... I think Alison really appreciates that you made contact. He's an unusual young man in that he really ADORES museums and archives!
