On the Beach

The pebbly beaches on much of Corfu were ideal for Leo. We had to watch that he did not put the little stones in his mouth but he was fascinated by the feel of them. He and Emma spent ages picking them up, looking at them throwing them. And Leo loved banging the bigger ones together because they made such a sharp sound.

On sandy beaches Leo seemed equally taken with the wet sand, grabbing huge chunks of it and letting it slip through his fingers. Stacie will remember calling Emma "sandy bottom"... well you should have seen Leo after these little spells!
